Traineeships
The date for applications for 2010 traineeships has now closed.
Applications for 2011 traineeships will be accepted from 9 October 2008. The closing date for applications will be 31 October 2009.
Our aim is to give our Trainee Solicitors a broad-based training in several of our departments. During the two-year traineeship, our Trainees can expect to spend six months in four of our main departments which are:-
- Company/Corporate
- Civil Litigation
- Commercial Property
- Residential Property
- Private Client
We offer a fully flexible training and any interests in specific legal areas can be catered for. You will see from this web site that our Firm has several other areas of practice within which training will also be provided should our Trainees become involved in these areas of work.
We view our Trainees as an investment in the future of our Firm and we concentrate on their training and education to a high standard. We place them within teams of three or four other solicitors which we have found offers an excellent support structure. We also have an informal "mentor system", which allocates our Trainees to a particular member of senior staff with whom they can discuss any general matters, or issues of particular importance to them.
