Leading Lawyer heads Commercial Property Team

Date:   27 July 2007

Robin Mitchell has been appointed as the head of Archibald Campbell & Harley's commercial property department, a move the firm says will allow it to streamline its service to this sector.

Robin, who joined AC&H in 1996 and has been a partner in the commercial property department for the last 5 years, is an experienced property lawyer with particular expertise in high quality landlord and tenant work. He acts for some of Britain's leading retailers and also advises on the acquisition and disposal of investment property and development sites.

Commenting on his recent appointment, Robin said: "Chambers Directory correctly identifies our commercial property department as a "great practice with huge potential". AC&H already have an excellent reputation in this field and I'm looking forward to building on this to reinforce our position as a major force in Scottish property work. The last few years have seen the firm attracting significant new business. My role is to ensure that we continue to do so whilst also providing the quality of service that is rightly expected by our existing clients"

Archibald Campbell & Harley's managing partner Rod Macphail added: "AC&H has built its reputation on the strength of our commercial property department. We have a strong team and Robin's appointment will provide additional experience and expertise. He is well-known and respected for his know-how and commercial judgment, and for the quality of the relationships he has established during his time with the firm"
